Seton Hall Law Investor Advocacy Project

The Seton Hall Law Investor Advocacy Project (IAP) a clinic at the law school that provides free legal representation to New Jersey residents who have an annual income under $100,000 and who have a securities fraud claim for approximately $100,000 or less. In addition to its legal representation, IAP also conducts free financial literacy presentations throughout the state. 

 

The presentation addresses commonly used terms in the financial industry, different types of securities and the "red flags" associated with each that may signal fraud or abuse by brokers handling your money, common FINRA causes of action, and questions to ask your investment professional being turning over your money.

 

Allison Hollows is a third year law student and member of the Investor Advocacy Project.
