Essentially entire professional life spent in the community banking business starting in 1963. Served in two statewide holding company banking organizations, coming to Monmouth County in 1974. Was one of the principal incorporators of Two River Community Bank in 2000 serving as the Chairman from inception until 2012, retired from Board in 2014. From 1992-1997 took time out from the banking business to serve as Executive Director of the Jersey Shore Medical Center Foundation.

Active community volunteer for over 40 years in various capacities. Am a trustee emeritus of Monmouth University, having been a trustee since 1987 and served a Board Chair from 1998 - 2001. Currently serve as Board Chair of CPC Foundation; a member of the Trustees of Church Property for the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey.

Am a Certified Financial Planner. Currently serve on the board of a privately held chemical company and have served on the boards of several publicly traded companies.

Married to Trudy, will celebrate our 53rd anniversary in September. Two children and two grandchildren. Lifelong interest in sports and music. Graduated Dartmouth College in 1963, Rutgers University (MBA) in 1967.
