Popping Fun Fundraiser Was a Success- we sold $1876 worth of popcorn which brings $928 to the Club and then an additional $500 because one member sold over $500 which was matched by the Tava Family Challenge. For those who were not able to participate in our first round of the popcorn sale you still have time. The next event will start November 7, 10 AM and close of November 11, 10 AM. The collections will run November 1 to 18. Club members are asked to spread the word and bring goods to designated drop off locations. YMCA Holiday Drive starts November 21 ending December 2. The YMCA is asking for Family Board Games and/or Gift Cards for the Holiday Drive this year. Lunch Break Service Angela Jackson, volunteer coordinator at Lunch Break, has asked volunteers sign up before the Monday prior to the Saturday of service so she balance out the number of volunteers. Mother's Pantry Lead- Arrange for weekly checks of our 3 pantries, provide refills to Rotarians to use, publicize Pantries within our community, solicit organizations to hold baby supply drives. Major Fundraiser Event Coordinator- Lead club's annual major fundraising event, the possibilities are endless- raffle, goods and services auction, golf outing, etc. to be scheduled to take place this Spring. With the help of club members you will lead the selection, planning and execution of an event or project to support Rotary service projects, scholarships and mini-grants.
