THE ROTARY CLUB OF RED BANK
EXPECTATIONS
WEEKLY CLUB MEETINGS
The Red Bank Rotary Club meets for lunch every Thursday of the month from Noon until 1:30 p.m. at the following locations:
-- 1st & 3rd Thursdays: 26 West Restaurant, Red Bank, NJ (Meal Cost: $32)
-- 2nd & 4th Thursdays: Navesink Country Club, Middletown, NJ (Special Menu includes Appetizer, Entree, Dessert, Soda, Coffee, Tea / Cost: $45)
During lunch, Rotarians and their guests enjoy learning from Guest Speakers, and collaborating with one another on community and service projects that will impact our town, community and our world. Brief announcements, District & International updates, and reports on Club activities are shared, and are often interspersed with recognition of birthdays, anniversaries, and sharing of good news and sad news. This is where friendships are made with like-minded professionals who seek to serve others above self.
We welcome you to come join us, and if you would like to be a guest speaker at one of our meetings, please reach out to ellie@ttrexecutivecoaching.com so that we can include you to our speaker roster.
Check In Commences at 12:00 p.m./Noon EST
Meetings adjourn promptly at 1:30 PM.
- At 12:45 PM the main program begins and generally consists of entertaining, informative and sometimes controversial topics provided by speakers with expertise in the field.
- Once each quarter a Club Assembly is scheduled with the program devoted to an extended reporting and discussion of Club activities and plans.
- All members of Rotary Clubs are encouraged to attend at least 60% of the club meetings (approximately 35 meetings).
- While away on vacation or business, we also encourage to visit that local Rotary club - a traditional 'Banner Exchange' is customary.
- We also encourage our members to become part of different committees and work our events.

Accordingly, the following list is not meant to be conclusive, but does represent a majority of the expenses:
- '24-'25 - Yearly Dues: $260.00 (Membership dues are prorated when membership is applied for throughout the year)
- '24-'25 Weekly Lunch Cost:
- 1st & 3rd Thursdays: 26 West Restaurant, Red Bank, NJ (Meal Cost: $32 USD)
- 2nd & 4th Thursdays: The Navesink Country Club (Appetizer, Entree, Dessert, Soda, Coffee, Tea): $45 USD
- '24-'25 Annual Picnic: Suggested Donation of $25.00 USD
EVENTS, SERVICE PROJECTS, ACTIVITIES FOR '24-'25
Our '24-'25 Rotary Year started on July 1, 2023, so there is plenty of time to get involved and engaged! Here are a few of this year's exciting projects:
- "Beautify Red Bank" - This is our inaugural year where we are committed to help the burrow of Red Bank "clean up", "pick up" and beautify areas that have been overlooked. - Saturday Mornings from 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
- Red Bank Rotary Club Literacy Program - This is where we read books to children at primary grade schools and purchase a book for the child to keep as their very own!
- "Flags for Heroes" - This is a very important program about which The Red Bank Rotary is passionate. Flags fly across the park in downtown Red Bank, and each flag is sponsored by members of the community (and beyond) to honor the heroes in their lives! This is one of several Veteran's and Memorial Day Events we lead and support
- Mother's Pantry - You've perhaps seen the blue-and-pink "birdhouses located at the YMCA, Salvation Army and Lunch Break. These pantries are stocked with diapers, feminine products, wipes, etc. and free to the public!
- And so many more projects and opportunities to serve others above self.
